IPDX Reimagined

Before founding Think Do Thrive, I worked as the Director of Events at a small non-profit organization called OETC. In that role, I oversaw all aspects of a boutique conference initially known as ITSC, which the leadership had initiated before I joined. Later, we rebranded the conference as IntegratED Portland (iPDX). Despite the conference's success in attendance and interest, OETC discontinued its support after I left the organization.

Following this, a group of education service districts and MCREN approached me to revitalize the event. Here is the event description:

The IntegratED conference (IPDX) started more than twenty years ago when a band of scrappy educators wanted to provide schools with a supportive community to collaborate and develop practical strategies for better-integrating technology into teaching and learning. At that time, it was described as a “working conference for educators.”

Carrying on the Tradition
The Multnomah Clackamas Regional Education Network (MCREN), with support from the Cascade Technology Alliance, High Desert, Clackamas, and Multnomah ESDs, will collaborate to drive the next iteration of IntegratED Portland.

After two challenging years, the “working conference for educators” spirit of IPDX will remain, but we think it’s time to reimagine a different set of school stakeholder needs. To guide this vision, we have developed a list of focus areas ( leadership, data, racial equity, and social and emotional learning) around which IPDX Reimagine will be designed.

The IPDX partnership is organizing an energizing day of inspiration and learning for you and your colleagues on February 21, 2022 (Presidents Day). Join us at the Kennedy School to learn from some of the best facilitators as they center on leadership, data, racial equity, and social and emotional learning.
