Utah EdTech Leaders Network

The Utah EdTech Leaders Network (UTTLN) supports edtech coaches and other leaders in education technology who are dedicated to promoting effective instructional practices involving technology, as well as personalized and competency-based learning in their schools or districts. We have just completed the third year of our year-long hybrid learning cohorts, bringing educators across Utah together. In transition and change, these participants play a crucial role, often being called upon to help shape the vision and deliver professional development for other educators in their schools or districts. Through a blended approach, this statewide network aims to foster a sense of community and establish a shared vision among participants, empowering them to effectively support new initiatives for change within their local and regional contexts.

● Deepen their understanding of Personalized, Competency-Based Instruction as articulated in Utah’s PCBL Framework

● Design professional learning for educators that aligns with the evidence-based practices for adult learners

● Understand and apply strategies for effective coaching

● Develop their skills as K-12 leaders and advocates

● Expand their professional network across Utah by sharing promising practices and common challenges from their schools.
